Camille - Creator

Her idea: Repurpose leather scraps from luxury brands and create unique and timeless pieces.
Reusing materials that are often put aside and forgotten is one of the brand's fundamental values.

Maxime grew up between the Paris region and Burgundy, always curious to understand life and incompatible with the traditional school system. He left school at a very young age to devote himself to photography, drawing and painting, drawing inspiration from artists from all walks of life.
At the age of 20, he met Sylvia Moschard, a leatherwork virtuoso. She instilled in him her know-how and passion for the profession. During his apprenticeship with the Compagnons du Devoir, he met Camille, a friendship that continues to this day.
Maxime then worked in the leather goods industry for six years, supervising a project for Christian Dior that took him around the globe.
Later, he settled in Lyon to become a trainer for luxury brands. Tired of the industry, he joined a start-up where he learned technology organization and accounting. In 2024, he returned to craftsmanship by accepting the position of General Manager of VA/CA Atelier.
Maxime plans to make VA/CA Atelier prosper by honoring the traditions of craftsmanship, while adopting a modern and innovative approach.

Camille was born in the South of France. From a young age, she was interested in Art in all its forms: drawing, pottery, painting, etc., which naturally led her to take classes at the public school of Fine Arts in Marseille, where she chose to learn charcoal drawing and painting. A leatherworker for 10 years, she started at the Compagnons du Devoir in 2013 and continued her career in the biggest French luxury brands, including Hermès, Louis Vuitton and Goyard. There, she perfected her skills in traditional and industrial techniques and after-sales service, before sharing her knowledge as a trainer. She is a craftswoman in the Manufacto program, for the second consecutive year, for the 2024-2025 school year (Manufacto, the factory of know-how, a program of the Hermès Corporate Foundation) in parallel with VA/CA Atelier.
